A sports and exercise GP bridges the knowledge gap between standard general practice and specialist Sports Physicians. MyLocalDoc Sports & MSK clinic provides accessible and affordable medical advice for sport and exercise issues.

Sports and exercise GPs are proficient in overseeing the management of non-operative musculoskeletal issues. This includes initial diagnosis, coordinating appropriate rehabilitation protocols, and facilitating the transition back to court/ field.

How do you facilitate the diagnostic process and subsequent treatment for patients with musculoskeletal issues?

Our clinic offers comprehensive services aimed at swiftly establishing diagnoses and initiating effective treatment programs.

We collaborate with QLD Radiology Services to provide advanced imaging solutions such as MRI, CT, and X-ray. Additionally, we specialize in designing tailored rehabilitation programs for individuals across various activity levels, including exercisers, workers, and elite athletes. Moreover, we expedite referrals to specialists like orthopedic surgeons when necessary, ensuring holistic and timely care for our patients.

What about other areas for sports performance?

MyLocalDoc values prehab, rehab and holistic overall wellness. In complementary support to our sports and MSK clinic, we also have allied health services readily available to look after your sports nutrition need (Dietitian), sports mental health (Psychologist) and mobility + function (Physiotherapists).
